Community Groups
What is a church community group?
You were created to belong. We believe there is power in connecting with others, sharing our stories and encouraging and being encouraged.
The model for church community groups is found in the book of Acts, when believers met in homes to eat, fellowship, and take communion (Acts 2:41–42, 46). They would read the apostles’ letters, discuss them, pray, and challenge each other to keep the faith (Acts 20:7–8).
Community Groups provide opportunities for life-changing and meaningful relationships to be cultivated as we live life and seek God together. These groups are where we dive deep and work out what God is doing in and through our lives. It’s also where we can invite our friends and make plans to reach out to the wider community.
